When it comes to a shopping experience, there is good, great, & then there's Essence in Harmony! From the subtle wafts of essential oils & incense luring you through the door, to the stunning window display, when you enter this store it's like entering Willy Wonka's chocolate factory! And then there's the delightful Mirelle with just the perfect balance of helpful & friendly & leave you be to wander amongst the many gorgeous items. Mirelle dealt with a (playful) family 'feud' over who is buying whom gifts & who is paying for what with such humour & good fun. She made me, my sister & our elderly folks feel so welcome, it was what shopping would have felt like in years gone by. She shared her store ethos around sustainability, environmentally friendly & cruelty free products & wrapping etc that just made me wanna pull up a lounge chair, snuggle in with a warm rug & a cuppa & just chat with her for hours! I love her support of movements like Sea Shepherd & vegan products. No hugely overwhelming mass production stock here - her store is so clearly thoughtfully & lovingly curated to offer just the right amount of the best. There's no shortage of stores around Vic that purport a similar ethos, but I've not experienced to date such a wonderful blend of friendly, genuinely caring store stewardship & a personal warmth that Mirelle brings. I generally don't enjoy shopping, but I loved Essence in Harmony &, moving to the Gippy coast shortly, I plan on being a regular. If you're anywhere near Sale - stop by & experience it for yourself!

Great service, knowledgeable about products and fabulous stock to choose from. I love the choices of unusual, quirky yet great quality stock at very reasonable prices. The staff are fantastic, helpful without being pushy. My absolute favourite shop. ALWAYS pop in whenever I'm in Sale 👍
