Green veggies were nice. The duck was not bad however sauce that came with it was cheap and Watery which really ruined the dish. When the bill came out he charge me for a larger portion of duck then what I initially ordered. Also a large rice when I simply asked for a roast duck and rice. When I disputed the bill he had a laugh stating he is a "good sales man, and that what I got was better value" which is idiotic as it's not a laughing matter as I'm the paying customer at the end of the day. Very disappointed with the manager dint act professional and upgraded all my dish without being clear. Won't be coming here again.

Very tasty food and very quick to bring the food out. Staff not very fluent in English. Clean toilets. Portion sizes are on the smaller side.

I have been going to Ocean Seafood in Surfers Paradise for 18 years. I am not sure if it has changed ownership as Sam has always provided best food and customer service. Last night five of us went for dinner. One soup came out and as my friend was finishing that, my soup came out. My soup was the worst Wonton soup I have ever tasted. Like pepper soup with no pork, no beanshoots and pale broth. We all ordered the same main dish as it is usually a favorite dish enjoyed by all. All 4 same chicken dishes were served with just warm rice, cold chicken and watered down sauce. We did not complain about the food. When we went to pay the bill, the restaurant owner in charge actually abused us while we split the bill and paid our share. He was not happy at all and told us in future to split the bill 5 ways evenly. My guests had different financial circumstances, one guest did not eat a meal for starters and another is a student so could just afford his serve so why should he pay more, my son wanted to shout me - So what business was it for that man to tell us how to pay. I will never go back and I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone and I'll make sure I'll tell all the people I know of this unbelievable shocking behavior and poor quality of food. Very disappointing after 18 years of many happy memories in this place! Not happy. ..
