I have been to the sushi train a few times now coming from Melbourne, I would have to say the first couple of times where fantastic fresh fish, great food, friendly customer service, then my last visit the fish didn’t seem as fresh unfortunately a little dry and funny tasting. But hopefully that was just a bad day in the kitchen.

Best sushi train in Cairns is at Smithfield. Always fresh and quick service. All the staff are so friendly too. Plenty options for kids.

The sushi is good but one of staff treat us differently, no smile, emotionless, and totally opposite way to australian.
