The Mexican - Port Douglas

Certainly not your run of the mill Mexican, with a decent variety of options you wouldn’t find on a standard Mexican menu. Some of the flavours were not my cup of tea, but your mileage may vary here. Also loved the 3 course kids menu option!

Not the usual Mexican food. It's fresh and tasty! Very good selection of dishes and a popular place. Good vegetarian options.

I’ll start with the good we went here for dinner and was absolutely amazed at how good the service and wait staff were they assisted extremely well from start to finish. The entre of chicken is wings were also great with the blue cheese dip. Unfortunately that’s where it ends. Have never been so disappointed when I got given the Nachos..hardly any meat it had the most vile liquid cheese sauce and no kidney beans at all but in fact radish...The meat whilst tender was not seasoned and lacked any real flavour. Extremely disappointed.

Nice little cafe on the main strip. Great service and food. Menu was reasonably priced. We got there early but as the sun went down, there was a line up for a table. Since service is quick so the wait wasn't too long... and this is off season. Would recommend.

I absolutely loved this place. Not your typical Mexican restaurant so don't go expecting that. It's Mexican with a tropical fusion. Brilliant place for those who are Coeliac as the staff understand the condition and even have a separate gluten free menu. We ordered the Fajitas and Burritos and couldn't fault them at all. Only regret is not going here for a second time before leaving Port Douglas.
