Court House Hotel

This pub has really turned around. Great meals, busy vibe and good staff.

Attended gigs at the court house hotel during Tamworth Country Music Festival. The venue was often packed for the various artists i came to see. Bar staff worked hard and served customers as quick as they could. Unfortunately the venue layout doesnt favour live performances during peak times IE the festival. They should aim to have the stage at the rear.

If you know what to expect, this place is ok. If you expect anything more than a slight step up from a backpackers then you might be disappointed. Know that you will be sharing bathrooms with other tenants and that there is a communal tee and coffee making facility in the hallway. Beware, the noise due to the bars downstairs and across the street can go on until the early hours of the morning. Other than this, the rooms were basic but clean and relatively spacious. Staff was also friendly. Recommended for budget accommodation.

Seems to be no housekeeping on Sunday. Not so clean as last time when I stayed on a weekday night. Everything was fine last time.

Excellent place to lay your head after a long trip. Beautifully clean. Very comfortable bed even for a bad back and the food down stairs was excellent as well. All in all. Highly recommend. Will definitely will stay again.
