Chilli & Basil Thai restaurant

Normally we love the food and regularly order. Tonight was terrible. Ordered delivery, food came 1.5 hours later. Green curry was lukewarm. Satay cold, Rice cold. Mixed entree was cold AND soggy. All tasted different to normal & we are regulars so I have plenty to compare with. On recieving cold order immediately called to complain. Response was underwhelming to say the least. A goodwill gesture would have been appreciated & we would have given them another go. "Thanks for the feedback and maybe we'll do better next time" wasn't good enough. Won't be ordering again

Highly recomend 👌 Seriously good food. I am a first timer but I will definately be a repeat offender! I have eaten a lot of Thai over the years and these guys know how to whip the competitors butts. Very impressed

It makes no sense to eat here, when Thai Tables is just down the road. We ordered four dishes. The Panang Curry and the Curry Puffs were okay, but the Tom Yum Soup was poor. Worst I've ever had. There were only three prawns. The broth didn't taste good. I ended up pouring half of it out... The green chicken curry was below average, too. The sauce was thin and watery and the chicken pieces were too big. Furthermore, I asked for extra spicy and it was hardly even hot... Whereas, with the Panang Curry, we asked for it to be as mild as possible and it was about the same as the green curry... ?!?
