10/10 for us! We visited on 18/3/2018 for dinner for my husband's birthday.. (Second time here). Food is incredible, fresh, tasty and served at the right temperature and at the right time. The staff will happily tell you how many items to order from the menu (it's mainly sharing style). You MUST try the prawn green papaya salad, and the crispy chicken (spatchcock style). It is honestly the softest chicken (with a crispy shell) that I have ever tried! Dessert came out with a lovely candle too, to help celebrate my husband's birthday. Ambiance is awesome, staff are very knowledgeable and constantly looking to help you where they can. If I worked in hospitality, I'd want to work here! Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

We love to eat out and have been to so many great restaurants in Melbourne. Coda was right up there as one of the best food experiences that we can remember. Great service, atmosphere and food to die for. Great balance of sweet, sour and spice. Great mixture of textures. Impeccable presentation. Make sure to leave room for the desserts. They were incredible! We'll definitely be back

Went for my birthday and the service was awesome, loved their beetle leaf starter and the basil ice cream but had second thoughts on the yellow duck curry. The ambiance was nice but lighting was too dark for my liking (I felt sleepy). Also make sure you dont get the table near the entrance as it was quite hectic. Overall will go there again to try the basil ice cream :)

Coda does a great job of mixing traditional asian flavours with modern ingredients for a very contemporary palate. The food is exceptional and the wine list is very good.
It may seem a shame to have ordered fries (but we did) with this delicious food - but I have to say they went very well with the rest of the dishes! The salads were fresh and really well balanced flavours.
The desert was amazing.
The staff here are exceptional - the women behind the bar (we were seated at the bar!) was amazing, attentive, helpful, engaging, friendly and just gave us a great dining experience.
Cocktails list is extensive and has something for everyone.
It is a little pricy - but you get a great culinary experience.

I must say that everything is well-thought out, well-composed, and well-cooked. The techniques being used and the chef's understanding of the ingredients is top notch. Fusion is always a hit or miss, and this place falls somewhere in between. You'll appreciate that they're trying things and you can see it in the dishes that they really put a lot of effort in it. Actually, you can literally see it in their open kitchen. Ask for recommendations on what goes with the dishes. Like the eggplant side dish goes well with rice (we weren't informed), and the steak could go well with some starch or salad. But yes, definitely give this place a try. The price is worth it.
