Broome Hospital

No communication to patients as to how long they will be waiting. All staff seem to have a bad attitude towards what they are doing. My partner had hurt herself and was in a bad way bleeding in emergency in a significant amount of pain. This seemed to be ignored. Prioritizing aboriginal patients over white patients, people known by name were walked through to treatment almost immediately (these were not guests but new paitents) while others are left to wait. Seriously now considering an advanced first aid course just due to how terrible this experience was/is going. As I said all and all a horrible experience of our Healthcare system.

Thanks to everyone involved in assisting me during the past week. Ended up in Emergency Dept. This was followed up by a series of test all week. Staff were wonderful: from reception, to imaging technicians, to doctors and nurses. Cannot fault their professionalism and attitudes.

I want to thank the Broome Hospital, the doctors and nursing staff for taking care of my daughter while she was hospitalized there for a week. You looked after her with care and professionalism . It was such a relief to know she was cared for above and beyond where it put my mind and worries to rest knowing she was is such good hands.

Wonderful caring staff went there for a chest pain i was treated with great respect and thoroughly checked over with every possible cause investigated. Doctors were thorough and nursing staff were excellent going about their duties with care and consideration beyond my expectations. Thank you Dr. Alex and Nurse Jane and all the staff.

I just want to say my partner David has been in many hospitals and is at the moment still in Broome Hosp for 2 weeks now and coming good,we have been travelling around Australia so mo famiky or friends here and i just want to say from the janitor up to the head physician Casper and the whole team in between from ED , tge ward drs,the nurses,the kitchen staff and cleaners have been over and above in there duty of care in looking after David and also suppling my meals when needed. This small hospital is the cleanest and comfortable pkace we have been in on our trip and a big thanku to you all for your care room 16 nov 2016 THANKYOU ALL VERY MUCH xxx
