Gourmet House Chinese Restaurant

New owner as of late 2017, but the chefs are the same and the food is as good as it always was. The waitresses are friendly, the dumplings are very very nice though I always ask for extra dipping sauce which also adds incredible flavour. The noodle dishes are possibly the best you'll taste in the hills and every dish I've eaten has ticked every box for flavour, portion size and price. The prices are crazily sensible. You don't leave feeling like you've been screwed like at Nepalese Temptations. I'll be back anyway!

I will give credit for the environment and portion but not the food. The prawns in the garlic prawn were tasteless. The beef we ordered was way too salty and the spring roll didn’t really meet my expectation as the frozen spring rolls from Coles taste better than it.

Food was excellent and the service very friendly. We had a table right next to their open fire which was lovely. We ordered too much but now looking forward to leftovers tomorrow! Recommend that you try it

A favorite place to get take away or eat in nice food served by nice staff. Always a good feed had here. I took some friends and they enjoyed the food.

The food was acceptable, the service was fine. What happened at the end of the night left much to be desired and was extremely disappointing. One guest returned from an emergency call out as the rest of us had just finished our desserts. He requested a bowl of ice cream but was refused as it was apparently after closing. Our bill was over $400 and staff were still clearing tables. It was to be a quick bowl of ice cream. Furthermore, the music and decor need attention as the ambience is poor.
