Our walking group go here for coffee most Wednesdays, we are always made to feel welcome, and on several occasions staff had prepared a table especially for us, even though we had not booked. Right from walking in the front doors and being greeted by Val on the front desk, we feel like we are visiting friends. Service staff are pleasant, and patient, coping with sometimes 10 or more of us descending on them! Coffee is good, atmosphere and environment, warm and friendly.

We ended up to this place when we were doing our coastal drive. We were there around 10/15 minutes before kitchen closes. We did not know anything about that as it was our stopover. So we sat down on the table as advised by the front lady and waiting staff, who were very friendly. Later on chef came to our table and asked us to order asap otherwise he will close the kitchen. The way how he said to us was so rude and made us felt that we were not welcomed and don’t want our business. I have never seen such an unprofessional person. If he don’t want to make food then he should let the front staff that he don’t want anymore customer.

Good fun with bare foot bowls. The people running this were very helpful and patient. Had such fun over a couple of drinks. Also a very good place to take the kids for dinner. They have some interesting theme nights for meals.

Service is lacking. Disappointed with not knowing how long we were needing to wait on the waiting list, especially after the tables were emptied and were being reset for the next smorgasbord. We didn't know what was going on, no staff attended us and we felt we were being ignored so we left after 30 minutes and went to a competitor fortunately

On Sunday 20 May 2018, en route to Narooma NSW, we stopped for the night at Lakes Entrance. Sadly; most of the restaurants and cafes at Lakes were closed and by chance, we found the Lakes Entrance Bowls Club - Zephyr - Restaurant. WOW! What a great place for a meal. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. My wife had the roast of the day and I ordered the Prawn Fettuccine with shallots, onion, chilli Garlic & Olive oil. Who would a thought that this combination would be exquisite, but that it indeed was. The servings were generous, and reasonably priced. I must say; COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF! On our return trip yesterday, we decided to stop off here for lunch en route home and I ordered the same dish yet again as it impressed me so much. Once again; the food was delicious, and on both occasions, the staff and wait staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. We will certainly be returning to this great venue when next at Lakes Entrance. CONGRATS TO THE MANAGEMENT & STAFF AT THE LASKES ENTRANCE BOWLING CLUB. YOU GUYS ARE THE EPITOME OF PROFESSIONALISM. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK & THANK YOU ALL
