Has tennis courts, an athletics track, fitness classes and gym with nice, clean changing rooms.

Big range of equipment but cold/unfriendly staff. Group sessions are great.

I have recently tried a lot of other gyms and decided to still stick with the one in Melbourne Uni. I don’t understand why huge gyms like virgin active and fitness first would have only 2 bench press racks. While the Melbourne uni sport meet all my requirements, the only problem is that the hours are too short for me.

Attitude to a customer at counter desk is terrible. Even if the work out and pool areas are good enough, every time I have to go for any reason and have conversation at a counter desk I face the unfriendly personnel who don't even care of anything related to you and their responsibilities. Once I leave University of Melbourne, I would never come back and use this gym ever. It is actually one of the only two places in Melbourne where I do consistently meet lack of service and rude unfriendly people (second is BDM department of Melbourne)

The service drags everything down to the bottom. I'll give four stars for gym atmosphere, the gym has great natural lighting and views, pool is also great. However, when I have to go to the counter desk for various reasons, the faces were way too unfriendly, it ruins everything. I'm more than happy to pay, I have been a member in this gym for THREE YEARS, and most of the time I hate talking to some staffs. I have recommended so many friends to go to Melbourne Uni Sports, but probably not anymore. Could the management group do something maybe?
