Great coffee and they make me feel special! Their Braised Steak and Onions Pie is one of their best! Large chunky beef, and onions almost melted into the gravy. Yum!

Can't go wrong with a classic Parker's meat pie! So excited to see them open today.

Rutherglen is quite a lovely country town, but Parker Pies must be the highlight of the entire place. Come at lunchtime and you'll have queues out the door. Don't let this out you off though, it's worth the wait. The pies are truly delicious. Light, tasty pastry encloses truly wonderful fillings. Peppered steak, a personal favourite, has chunks of meat which melt in your mouth, in a gravy that is peppery and savoury in all the best ways. If you're looking for a dessert, it's hard to go past their classic Vanilla Slice. Honestly, the trip to Rutherglen from Melbourne is worth it purely for a stop here.

We really enjoyed sitting outside (in the garden at the back). Our pies were flaky and excellent (a bit pricey, but quality). We shared a cake too, there were some nice choices.

Proof of having a good pie is immediately wanting another one! And I definitely want to have 1 or 2 or 3 or......more
