The pies are great. But every second time I go into the store they are all out of steak and pepper and steak and mushroom. Happened to me 3 times in the last 2 weeks. I go out of my way to eat here. I won't be returning ever again.

Really solidly good pies and no fuss. Best pies in a very large radius.

I had the beef and red wine pie and it was the best pie I've had for a long time.

Returned visit! Lamb and the steak & pepper pies were fabulous. (No onion pies though, they are my favorite!!) Esspresso are very good. Will become a regular stopping location. Open every day 10 t0 4pm (except new years day! It seems)

With simple decor the place could easily be overlooked. However they should not be gone past without dropping in.
I had my first experience there last Sunday.
I had the Thai chicken and veggie curry pie. It was great and definitely the best pie of such I have every come across.
A few days later I visited their Bright store and this time had the steak and pepper pie.
It too was great. Good chunky beef with a rich pepper gravy.
I will be back for more.
I also heard from a local at Yack, that the owners donate to various local charities and are generally helpful about the town. Good on them!
