About the business
Starbucks Corporation is an American coffee company and coffeehouse chain. Starbucks was founded in Seattle, Washington in 1971. As of early 2019, the company operates over 30,000 locations worldwide.
The first Starbucks opened in Seattle, Washington, on March 31, 1971, by three partners who met while they were students at the University of San Francisco: English teacher Jerry Baldwin, history teacher Zev Siegl, and writer Gordon Bowker were inspired to sell high-quality coffee beans and equipment by coffee roasting entrepreneur Alfred Peet after he taught them his style of roasting beans.

One star is being generous...
Not only did we have to have our coffee remade as the quality was pathetic and our so called cappuccinos came out tasteless and looking like a flat white with an after thought of froth on top. Will not be returning in a hurry if even ever.

I actually didn't get to drink here, it was the rude staff member that got me. I purchased a curry from hinachi and took the closest seat. It was at the end of a row of 12 seats ALL empty. But apparently must be reserved for Starbucks customers only. The lady came up to me and slammed down the "please reserve" sign that was not there previously, I turned at the noise, read it and offered and apologetic smile, returned by the glare of the rude girl. Heaven forbid a 7 month pregnant girl eat her lunch at the end of an empty table. Tsk tsk
