Had the Brekky Bagel and it was top notch! I would even go there just for the coffee, it was really good! Great value and great service.

Got a coffee and bagel from them yesterday. Tasted really nice and they had a good range. Some of the best coffee I have had was just a bit surprised at the size. $4.50 for a small coffee and I got it an thaught dam this is a mini. Other than the size it was great. Friendly staff and got my food and coffee fast.

The good news is that this cafe offers fresh bagels and Clean Skin coffee. ( see seperate Clean Skin review, if you wish). The quality of bagels have been consistent. Staff are friendly and but not exceptional. Be sure to ask for extra hot coffee if you prefer your coffee to be very hot as the staff have been trained to make coffee at a slightly lower temperature. (Same at Clean Skin in Brendale.) Cafe is clean and presentable. Limited outdoor seating and inside feels a bit cramped, but still fresh and cosy in appearance. Expect to pay about $18 per head for bagel and coffee. Not usually too much of a waiting time for food and bagels are delicious and fresh! Can’t quite put my finger on what is missing - it’s just not ‘wow’ enough to get 5 stars for me. _________________________________________ PLEASE CLICK ‘LIKE’ if you found any part of my review useful or informative. After finding this place on Easter Saturday we've been back 4 more times up until today, Easter Monday - once with friends. The bagels are great - salmon is the best but the main reason for me to come here EVERY SINGLE DAY even though I HATE going to Chermside is the coffee. Cleanskins usually makes itself just fine but the barista ladies at NYC are masters. Smooth milk, non-bubbly crema, sweet latte art and best of all, unlike a lot of coffee spots, I'd say they purge the machine in between brews. I dunno but whatever it is, keep doing it but make the milk just a bit warmer because this stuff is so good the just-warm temperature means you can drink it pretty fast! Going forward, they need to expand because I want to sit there all day and study whilst drinking this amazing coffee.

An absoloutely beautiful experience was had here. I had the Chicken, Brie and Cranberry on the 'Everything' Bagel and it was honestly superb. The flavour was very pronounced from all the ingredients and tasted extremely fresh. I also ordered a lactose free mocha which was also very nice, although a tad sweet you tend to sign up for that if you are ordering a mocha. Service was friendly and polite with the delivery of the food to the table in a reasonable amount of time. The style or the place is pleasing to the eye, and is nothing to write home about in a nwgative or positive matter. This place is a must visit for a cheeky lunch. I know I'll be back soon.
