Starbucks

About the business

Starbucks Corporation is an American coffee company and coffeehouse chain. Starbucks was founded in Seattle, Washington in 1971. As of early 2019, the company operates over 30,000 locations worldwide.

History

The first Starbucks opened in Seattle, Washington, on March 31, 1971, by three partners who met while they were students at the University of San Francisco: English teacher Jerry Baldwin, history teacher Zev Siegl, and writer Gordon Bowker were inspired to sell high-quality coffee beans and equipment by coffee roasting entrepreneur Alfred Peet after he taught them his style of roasting beans.

The staff at Queens St Mall Starbucks are just brilliant!!!!! It’s my second home I am there so often I should pay rent. They are the friendliest staff really awesome!!! Always have time for a chat. That old fashioned service that’s rare these days. Great atmosphere nice music. The coffee is delicious especially the flat whites. I highly recommend this place it’s fantastic. Great cafe of the major franchise! Staff are attentive and faster then I could imagine! Very true to the ones I visited in the USA! Great coffee and we went on Christmas day, great service even then!

Good coffee. Place is bit small so not enough seats to dine in..

The barrister was too busy chatting up the two girls ahead of to give me the correct size of my drink and either ordered the wrong sandwich or overcharged me for nothing. Got the correct drink but not in the correct size. Wasn't treated as nicely or as friendly as the girls in front of me. A sandwich came out shortly after my drink which wasn't what I had ordered. So I decided to wait around another 5 minutes for it, didn't come of course. Almost missed my bus and I'm still hungry. So thanks.

Staff was very friendly and quick. Such a great location. Also love love Starbucks. Wish they had the American rewards system but it’s a start the one they have now.
