5 Stars for the delicious bagels but customer service can be better. This is my second time in a week and in both occasions, no smile and was feeling unwelcomed. There was a small argument between one of the staff/ or maybe the owner and a lady who pre-ordered today. The response to the customer was not very pleasant and made me feel so awkward while dining in. Though I am a huge fan of the their bagel, I’ll seek an alternative bakery or maybe I’ll order when a friendlier person in the counter is around.

I ordered a soy mocha this morning. The woman with braces and glasses mixed up for a late. So I said, sorry it was a moca. She got all agitated and said it's and extra 50 cents on top of the 4 dollars I paid already. To see, she had sprinkled choco powder on top of the regular late (which she made by mistake) and charged me extra too. It was no mocha! I served as a barista for over 6 years and I know what a mocha is. It's very unpleasant to see people like that early in the morning.

The staff was ok and the cakes looked nice (I didn't try them though). However, considering Melbourne is the city of the coffee, I was disappointed with the quality of the coffee here. I couldn't even finish my latte. There is no toilets inside, you need to go out, cross the car parking and use the public one (it was clean).

Bagels are terrific. The cakes and prepared food always well displayed and the cafe looks clean and tidy. Staff behind the counter are not very friendly. Give the coffee a miss, it's terrible.
