Starbucks

About the business

Starbucks Corporation is an American coffee company and coffeehouse chain. Starbucks was founded in Seattle, Washington in 1971. As of early 2019, the company operates over 30,000 locations worldwide.

History

The first Starbucks opened in Seattle, Washington, on March 31, 1971, by three partners who met while they were students at the University of San Francisco: English teacher Jerry Baldwin, history teacher Zev Siegl, and writer Gordon Bowker were inspired to sell high-quality coffee beans and equipment by coffee roasting entrepreneur Alfred Peet after he taught them his style of roasting beans.

I never leave disappointed. Lovely service, decent food, FANTASTIC iced caramel macchiatos, good ambience. Keep up the good work.

A great place for warm milk. If you prefer warm foamed milk, ask for a cappuccino. You might get a small hit of coffee but don't blame them for it, it might have gotten mixed in out of carelessness.

It's funny reading some of these comments. I had the opposite situation compared to Apupuji. Maybe they took your feedback too seriously. Have a look at my whipped cream! Protruding out of the cup lid. Thanks Ann! I look funny with extra whipped cream.

Starving & wanted a cheesecake today. Greeted by heaps of flies enjoying a food orgy on everything edible in Starbucks Melbourne Central. Only one fly in the image, out of >10 flying around inside the glass display with cakes and other food. Staffs were too busy to deal with flies and i don't fault them. Can't expect staffs to keep waving their hands over food. It's Starbucks's fault for not coming up with good health and safety practices here.
