When you go to the Vic Market from the Flagstaff garden side - this is the first coffeeshop you see on your way. It’s situated at the corner and has plenty of space to sit and enjoy your coffee (comparatively to the ones inside the market). The coffee is great, fulfilling the local taste and matching the local standard. We always go there when we don’t have time to explore the market.

One of the best coffees I have ever had!! I was greeted with friendly smiles and had great chats with the staff. Excellent little cafe all round.

Cool spot right at the Queen Vic Market. Coffee and the beans are pretty good, but the best part is the price - most reasonable price for beans and home-brewing gear in the CBD area. The staff are really good at helping pick beans if you describe your tastes to them, and the only place with a re-usable container I've come across. Cons: weekday hours are a bit sporadic because of Market off days, so not always ideal for a work day coffee run.

Since this place changed hands, this place has gone to the dogs. Over extracted coffee, wrong orders, slow service. A pity, have been coming here since it was opened by Padre, won't again. Those southern scoundrels at Market Lane have won my business.
