This place is amazing for trying different types of coffee. I got the barista special. 4 coffees came out of different forms and it was amazing. Coffee was so smooth and creamy. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone

For the Coffee snobs amongst us - and you know who you are - this is a must visit coffee experience - don't settle for the normal coffee, these guys really care about the entire experience. Getting a seat can sometimes be difficult - but if you can settle for a takeaway cup - you can always take your coffee experience with you.

Modest range of offerings but each done well. Good choice of pastries and baguettes. Staff are almost always very good, if sometimes understaffed. This is a quiet place for coffee and a light bite. Baguettes don't always turn up until mid morning. Coffee is appreciably of a high standard. Takeaway embraces keep-cups.

The words “best” and “coffee” get thrown around a lot in Melbourne but the coffee at Sensory Lab was so good I almost had an existential crisis knowing that I had to head back to Sydney to a sea of bland coffee in comparison. Don’t be perturbed by the fact that it’s connected to DJ’s - it’s the best coffee I tried in Melbourne!

There are many people waiting their coffee. Popular? No, just staff works slowly and unfriendly. Moreover, taste is nothing special.
