About the business

Starbucks Corporation is an American coffee company and coffeehouse chain. Starbucks was founded in Seattle, Washington in 1971. As of early 2019, the company operates over 30,000 locations worldwide.

The first Starbucks opened in Seattle, Washington, on March 31, 1971, by three partners who met while they were students at the University of San Francisco: English teacher Jerry Baldwin, history teacher Zev Siegl, and writer Gordon Bowker were inspired to sell high-quality coffee beans and equipment by coffee roasting entrepreneur Alfred Peet after he taught them his style of roasting beans.

Go somewhere else if you want a good coffee. It's pretty terrible here.

Had unpleasant experience with one of awful staff named Bec(she had a name tag of that name). Just asked for internet code and she tried to humiliate me because i didn't ask straight after purchased drink. I had a grande latte and long black plus sandwich and I am pretty sure that will be enough for me to ask to use internet. She was shouting at me in front of all people and tried to humiliate me which I never experience before especially in the starbucks all around the world. I believe Starbucks has customer service protocol and also they trining staff well. Maybe this shop has no time to do this, or only that staff named BEC has no training period after she hired. Seriously, it was horrible experience ever. Just don't want to recommend you guys.

POPULAR COFFEE AND LIGHT FOOD ON SPENCER ST I have to be a bit desperate to drink Starbucks coffee but the food (and other drinks) are quite good. If the coffee was good i'd give it 4 stars :) This outlet is always well patronised.. a mix of office workers, tourists and others drinking, chatting, surfing the web. Its very clean and the staff are usually quite chirpy (as you would expect at Starbucks!!). Located within the popular Spencer Outlet Centre, the store has wifi and is well protected from the weather in the winter.
