Apart from the coffee there, you should try the grilled Portobello mushroom sandwich in front of the cafe. A simple dish with a mix of a couple things turns out to be surprisingly delicious.

Excellent cafe in Prahran!! I tried to drink a short black that blend Brazil with Bolivia. So smooth and great taste for me!! Lovely Market Lane Coffee!!

I was so excited to get my coffee after doing my market shopping but was quickly disappointed by their one sized take away coffee at $4.80! Then had to wait 15minutes for it to be pretty disappointing coffee. Wont be going here again.

Yikes..... when you pay 4.80 for a regular coffee, you’re expecting it to be up there with the best coffees of your life. However. Acidic flavour and bitter aftertaste, maybe something went wrong with this one? Or maybe they’re just not as good as they think they are.

Long wait for a small coffee (only one size), for the price or a large ($4.50), despite a small army behind the counter. None of this army were tasked with putting a top on takeaway coffees, and when I asked where I could find one I was brusquely informed “at either exit” by one of the 5 counter staff. They’re clearly very proud of themselves and their dedication to coffee here. A little of that attention paid to service and the people on the other side of the counter would go a long way. Coffee was good. Not as spectacular as the efforts of the army might have you anticipating.

Opinion | Banning TikTok Would Make America More Like China
