Coffee is awesome so nice to find somewhere with almond milk. Gals who serve r super friendly despite I'm sure having a rough trot of a hospo job. The fan spinning over the fluro lights kinda gives it a rave/epileptic fit vibe.. Maybe invest in some air con and ditch the crazy light show lol

good coffee, but I just ordered a Borek and it came in a huge polystyrene container with plastic cutlery. a paper bag would have been fine. I won't be ordering food from there again unless they change their environmentally unfriendly packaging

By far my favorite cafe on campus, I've been coming here for the last 3 years, because they have the best coffee, the best deals (where else could you get a coffee and a ham, cheese, tomato toastie for $4?) and the best staff.
The owner Pete is at the bakery from the early hours of the morning to closing every day, yet he still manages to engage customers with a smile and great conversation and somehow remembers people's names (a skill that I'm jealous of).
Bake and Bean is probably going to be the thing I miss most about the La Trobe when I graduate, thanks guys!
