Always happy when I go here. Whether it's for coffee, sandwiches or something from their special lunchtime menu, I'm always impressed. Incredibly good value and really lovely staff.

Little cafe outside Camberwell Market, great coffee and smoothies. Tasty snacks with a handful of tables to sit and relax. The salads are really good and staff friendly

Terrible service, had to ask for a menu and if we could order despite being empty!! Did not listen to order as I requested my food a certain way. Coffee abnormally small for the same price as a normal sized coffee. Over all would NEVER COME BACK!!!

We came back to Butter Dish after a while, the quality of the food was just as great as our previous visit. The thai prawn omellette was exceptionally amazing oozing with flavour complimented with the right amount of apple and chilli slivers. The soft scrambled with caramelized onions on a brioche bun was filled with flavour and did not disappoint. The salads that are made here are some of the best you can get in Melbourne. All packed with flavour and the right combinations. The staff are extremely friendly and provide excellent service to make the time at the eatery pleasant and warm. The coffees are also well made.
