I’ll start with the positives, they make great chips... that’s it. Written in the menu for two of the meals was ‘creme mushroom sauce’, they arrived with gravy and when this was mentioned to staff they just flat out denied it was in the menu. Served children’s meal of steak and chips rare for a 5yr old. If you have children I would avoid this place, it would appear from others reviews, that we were told all high chairs were already in use despite seeing no other children there and that they made us wait 20min for a table to be ‘prepared’ for an almost empty restaurant that they are not child friendly. Nothing like the experience of eating at George’s Paragon sanctuary cove where the meals were fantastic and very child friendly.

Lovely Greek restaurant in the Gold Coast hinterland. The staff were friendly and helpful. Portions for mains courses are generous. Prices are pretty reasonable too.

Food that we had was good. Very attentive wait staff. We were looking forward to oysters and were told there were not enough to have a dozen oysters as their seafood platter had not arrived. We were blown away that on a Saturday date night they could not accommodate us with our request. In saying that our food was lovely and delivered quickly, but this is now the second time we have been told we could not have oysters at this particular restaurant. Perhaps we need to ring and order before we go.... I have never been to a seafood restaurant that does not have oysters. Beautiful food that we did have but please get more oysters......😀

Very rude and only accept a certain ‘type’ of clientele. Sorry we don’t own a Mercedes. Restaurant was almost empty with no one waiting. It was 2:30pm and we were told there is a 20 minute waiting list for food. So that was the ‘polite’ way of telling us we weren’t fancy enough. Exceedingly rude. Not child friendly. They turned their noses up at us and our little girl and made us feel very unwelcome. She was 100% silent at the time and 100% behaved. The place also smelt terrible.

We often drive from Brisbane to Mt Tamborine just for this restaurant. Today was our anniversary, and I ordered the Baruti - formerly on their menu but now a special and my regular order at here. Upon being served I immediately raised the 3inch hair embedded amongst the dish which I removed and was taken away. I was asked if I would like to continue eating it or have it replaced. As my wife's dish was getting cold I did not opt for a replacement. I found it interesting that other restaurants would stipulate food hygiene and take the dish away but they didn't. We were also asked how our meal was - and I stated it lacked flavour compared to prior iterations - it just didn't seem seasoned and looked plain and boring. There was insufficient sauce, and the rice was dry or undercooked. Desert was lovely. Following the issue of our bill which included a full charge of the Baruti, my partner requested 2 teabags to take away (our Mt Tamborine accommodation was not fully equipped) - after consulting managers, we were charged $4 a tea bag (not a cup of tea with Milk and sugar ...but a tea bag - 100 tea bags are usually $4.80). We were disappointed with this $150 meal for two and wonder if management has changed? Staff were friendly but service was obviously lacking.
