I am not from here but came down for mothers day. Food and service was amazing. Also what a beautiful gesture, giving mothers a gift. Thank you so much for being thoughtful. You had everything covered. Very much appreciated. Will most certainly come again. Xo

My family and I celebrated a birthday dinner there last night. It waiter/waitress last night was amazing!!! Her name was Remi. She was friendly, attentive, funny and on the ball with our meals and drinks. When a drink was empty, she would come along and ask for more drink orders... excellent service! That's what you want when you head out for a celebratory dinner. The meals were lovely and presented nicely, main meals took a little while to come out but the restaurant was a little busy, but that's only being picky. We were able to pay for our individual food so they do split bills here. This is attractive to those larger groups. I couldn't really fault them last night. Previously, I had troubles with their staff and long wait times just to order drinks, but they seem to have turned that issue around. A very pleasant experience.

We had Mother's Day lunch there. We booked 1 week beforehand and got a call 2 days later to confirm our booking, at which time I was informed they would have a set menu. After looking at the menu ($50 a head) I called to change our entree to a dessert. I also asked about the kids meals which were over $5 more expensive than normal but were exactly the same as their normal meals. Staff member, Christine told me that it would include an icecream for that price. On the day we had to ask for our 'free' gifts for the mothers at the table and when we went to pay, we had been charged for the icecream. When I inquired and explained my conversation from earlier in the week, the manager Kel, told me that's not the case and that we have to pay more for the food because they have to pay for the extra staff and the gifts for the mothers. So essentially we paid for a 'free' gift (little bottle of yellow, box of 3 Target chocolates and a little candle, all probably bought in bulk at a cheaper rate). If you need extra staff on a day that you are busy, you shouldn't need to charge more as more people are there ordering. The rudeness that the manager displayed in her explanation and not honoring what another staff member had said is poor customer service and greatly detracted from our lunch, with us leaving on a poor note. We won't be returning anytime soon, and definitely not on a special day where they will charge more and not honor what they tell their customers.
