The food was delicious & an entree size was more than sufficient. The place was very busy but not too noisy. Staff were run of their feet a bit, we had a little delay trying to place an order. Food service was reasonably timely. Toilets are down some rather steep stairs, you need to hold onto the handrail, but steps weren't slippery. Parking is paid for & I found parking OK, but it was the last few spots available. As it's right on the foreshore, there are some views available from inside, but better from outside between the shrubbery. You'd have no problem taking the whole family here.

Ridiculously Huge serve of Delicious Lemon Meringue Pie with delicious coffees. Three adults could not finish the single slice of pie which was $9.50. Excellent value but a bit of a waste! I would rather have ordered 2-3 different average sized cakes for $4-5. Great views of the Foreshore and Frankston Pier from large windows, or from outdoor Patio if weather is suitable. We only had afternoon Coffee & Cake. Not sure what meals are like.

Absolutely appalling customer service. I ordered hot chips for lunch from this kiosk and after struggling to eat the chips on the beachfront because of the seagulls and scared small children, I asked to sit inside. The lady told me that I couldn't sit outside on their deck because I didn't order food from the restaurant and that 'the pricing is different'. Which is a pathetic reason to not allow me to sit on the outside PLASTIC table and chairs. I would've understood if the restaurant was 5 stars and busy on a weekend, but it was a quiet weekday and only had 1 other family sitting there. This is my second horrible experience at Sofia's, not only the most disgusting food but disgusting customer service. It's a shame because the location is amazing but the restaurant needs to be torn down to make room for something better.

Had lunch here one Saturday afternoon. We carried and booked a table ahead and were glad we did as it's a popular place on a sunny day. View of the beach was nice where we were given, but more shade would have been nice. Food was tasty (pizza) and brought our reasonably quickly. I felt prices were fair, and our waiter friendly and funny. Nice lunch out!
