Holidays Afloat & Ripples provide outstanding service. My family have enjoyed multiple bookings with Holidays Afloat throughout 2016, and we are looking forward to several more in 2017. We choose to take the train to Hawkesbury River train station, and we are delighted when the friendly staff pick us up and drive us to Brooklyn. The conversation on the way is always a pleasure, and a great way to start. We also choose to have our groceries delivered to the marina, and the staff ensure our food stays chilled until we can pack it on-board our vessel. They also supply ice, bait, linen, trolleys, and even audio cables. They really do go above and beyond, before we have even stepped onto the boat. The crew/deck-hands are also very professional and friendly. They communicate safety and driving instructions eloquently, and as such my wife and I always feel confident that we can manage driving the houseboat, and safely hitch to a mooring, or anchor. The boats are always clean and the on-board facilities are always in good working order. We feel very well accommodated in a little home away from home; on the beautiful Hawkesbury River. Thank you Holidays Afloat and Ripples. You will be seeing us again and again. Paul and family.

My partner and I enjoyed our experience, however we chose a boat that is not designed as a houseboat like we see as a standard and in that, it created confinement and frustration. Besides the negatives we gained from the experience and for the cost, next time we are doing a week in New Zealand.
