The best steak house in town. The house wine was delicious. I was impressed with the appetizers. My steak was so juicy and tender it just melted with each bite. Customer service also exceeded my expectations. Everyone was nice and helpful. A bit pricey but definitely worth it.

Beautiful building. Could use some more staff to take initial order. Food was quite nice but a bit expensive. We went there because of their reputation as the first real 'steak restaurant' in Sydney but I have definitely had better and for the same or less. Doesn't accept 'tap to pay' (no apple pay/android pay etc) technology for payment which is seriously outdated and inconvenient. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again.

My husband called it the best steak of his life (he got the Wagyu). I had the scallops - I don't recommend them (but at a steakhouse - what was I thinking?!). Very friendly staff and nice, intimate setting.

Went with my partner yesterday to celebrate his promotion. It was a bit hard to find as it's in the basement area. The meats, wine and atmosphere were all great. Lovely experience.

I was not very impressed. I took my wife there on valentines day and had a rib eye steak which lacked flavour and wasn't cooked well. My wife had a wagyu sirloin steak which was better than mine but not all that good. The manager of the wait staff took it upon herself to put my wife's expensive handbag onto the floor without even asking, and after our entree the table was dirty with food crumbs which weren't cleaned. The cheapest red wine i could find was $50 a glass. The best food of the night was fresh oysters. For the amount of money they charge I expected a lot more. I would not go back there.
