A good place in the city to go after dinner especially during winter if you are after something sweet. It is also a good date location that even my boyfriend enjoys and the menu at Max Brenner has a selection of delicious desserts to choose from. A favourite is the waffles or a dark hot chocolate.

I went there 2 weeks ago, accidentally cut my finger with a broken glass while pouring water to drink. The staff was very attentive and provided me bandages. They gave me a complimentary hot Chocolate too. I would love to visit this place more often

Cappuccino here is amazing. I also tried Italian thick milk dark which comes in nice hug mug and was great but felt it was very sweet for me and difficult to finish alone.

I was disappointed with my experience here. I tried Max Brenner for the first time in Brisbane, and absolutely loved it, and couldn’t wait to try it in Melbourne too. When I was ordering my waffle, I noticed one of the staff holding a large plastic container which contained about 20 ready-made waffles. Seeing this put me off, as I thought that each waffle is made fresh. I thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt though; maybe they made those waffles just now and put them all in that container. As soon as I cut into my waffle, however, I knew I was wrong. It was very obviously stale and not fresh at all. The texture was almost bread-like, and was falling apart, rather than being soft and fluffy, as a waffle should be. I was very disappointed with my experience here after having a wonderful experience in Brisbane.

Slow service. I had to wait more than 10 minutes for a waffle. I liked the waffle though. It's delicious. They just need to deal with their shortage of staff or else they'll ran short of customers.
